After a 35-year career in health (cancer treatment, mental health, health promotion and Aboriginal health) and not-for-profit management, I followed my heart and started HusbandMan to provide reliable, high-quality handyman services with the same dedication and compassion I brought to my previous work.
I have maintained and renovated multiple homes with a keen eye for detail and respect for each space. Some of the photos in the Gallery section are of improvements I've made to my own home. I'm happiest when customers love their homes more because of the work I've performed for them.
Having worked as both a service provider, and in advocacy services, for older people and those living with disabilities, I specialise in providing handyman services for individuals who may be vulnerable or are looking for someone who will patiently understand their needs. I prioritise transparency in both pricing and communication with my customers.
HusbandMan operates according to the following values: Honest Advice, Fair Pricing, Quality Workmanship, Great Service. I hold a NSW White Card, and I have a NSW Working With Children Check and ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card.Â
HusbandMan serves the beautiful Snowy-Monaro region, which my wife and I have called home since 2018. We live with one of our five adult children, are masters of three dogs and servants to four cats. We love exploring our region whether it's bushwalking in Kosciusko National Park, spending a day skiing, or walking the dogs in the bush surrounding Cooma.
